Janos Kovacs has been named as Hereford`s new club captain for the forthcoming campaign. The Hungarian central defender was a summer signing from Luton but has already had a profound effect at the club and has emerged as a dressing room leader and the central link between players and staff. Manager Simon Davey, himself a summer arrival who made Kovacs his first signing, sees the 24-year-old`s professionalism as a key factor in making him the ideal candidate to lead the Bulls.
