Davey wants striking prowess.

Hereford manager Simon Davey challenged his side to be more ruthless in front of goal following their 3-0 home defeat to Colchester in the first round of the Carling Cup. A brace from David Mooney against the run of play and an Ian Henderson strike condemned the Bulls to their first defeat of the season. Davey said: "It's not nice to lose 3-0 and it's not nice to go out of the cup. "But we had a lot of chances, especially in the first half which we should have taken. "We created stuff but we were playing against a team from a higher division that did well last season in League One and when they had the chances they took them. "So we have to strive to become that clinical in front of goal, we weren't here but on Saturday at Crewe we were."
