Rose sustained an ankle injury during Tuesday's 1-1 draw against Crewe and had to be substituted after 53 minutes while Tolley also picked up a knock.

But both trained on Thursday and are expected to be involved at Gigg Lane, as are a handful of other unnamed players who reported various bumps and bruises after the encounter.

Ryan Green (hernia) and Lee Morris (knee) both missed out altogether and remain sidelined as the Bulls look to end a five-match winless streak in all competitions.

But it will not be easy against third-placed Bury, who have picked up 10 points from a possible 12 in their last four games and last lost at home back in September.
